Some companies say 1% or 2% retinol or liposomal, etc. What does all the lingo mean?

A lot of skincare brands love throwing numbers and science-y words around because it sounds impressive. Here’s the truth:

Retinol % – Higher numbers don’t always mean “better.” Too much can cause irritation, redness, and peeling.

Liposomal – Just means the retinol is wrapped in a delivery system that helps it absorb better and release slowly, reducing irritation.

Our "1% liposomal complex" gets about 0.1% retinol where it needs to go to get the job done over time - without the burn. How do I best use BLACKSTEEL?

Simple: Start with a clean, dry face. Pump a small amount onto your fingertips and massage into your face, neck, and around the eyes (not in them). Use morning and/or night. Apply sunscreen during the day.
